Firstly, I want to say a big thank you to everyone who voted for me, Thank you. I also want to thank everyone who helped organize the event and my fellow scientist. The biggest thank you has to be to the students who asked the questions, the questions were sometimes funny sometimes difficult but always enjoyable to answer. You all came across as great people with some great science questions.

When I first signed up for this event, I was not really sure what I was getting myself in too, but I am so glad that I took part, it has been inspirational to chat with so many enthusiastic students. I had originally planned to take the money and run away to the Bahamas, however the sheer enthusiasm of the students made me want to do something bigger, also I could not afford the airfare.

So with the money I want to take science Images from my research group and groups like mine and have them transformed by artists in to art. This art will then be given away and exhibited in local meeting places, such are bars, restaurants and museums. I hope that the art will get people talking about the science behind them.
