I love tigers – I love how they move and hunt – so sleek!

Tigers are adapted to their environment through their stripes!

The black and orange stripes mightn’t look like grass, but in the heat of the day, they really help camoflage the tiger and allow him to hide in the tall grasses of the serengeti!

You have to watch this video to the end to believe me… you’ll be totally surprised!!

I love tigers, but my favorite is cheetahs! Tigers and cheetahs and other big predators have evolved to be very powerful.. they can run VERY fast in short bursts in order to catch a prey, like an antelope, that can run for very LONG distances but doesn’t have the power of these big cats. Tigers have adapted to have big huge and powerful jaws to catch and hold on to their next meal.

Like the common household cat, tigers have flexible backbones so they can catch up to their prey faster, and their back legs are longer than front legs which helps them jump further!

Tigers are cool and have adapted well. The video link SJ has put up is really impressive. I like tiger cubs the best, they are so cute.
