I HAVE I HAVE ITS AWESOME!!

What you do is (in an incredibly safe and secure environment with a fire extinguisher on hand and good ventilation) heat up potassium chlorate unitl it melts, then boils, then drop in a jelly baby!!

The potassium chorate causes the sugar in the jelly baby to be oxidised, breaking all the super strong energy containing carbon-carbon bonds very quickly. The light and sound you see is the release of all this chemically stored energy.

WOWSER! what a grand bit of chemistry!! 8)

(you can do it with gummi bears too!!)

No I have not but I had a friend who used to crush M&M’s together. He found out which ones were the toughest and sent the data of to the M&M people, they sent him a lot of free M&Ms to say thank you.
