      Getting involved in science? Well, I wanted to design artificial hearts, because I went to a college orientation where this girl engineer talked about how she helped surgeons implant mechanical hearts. I thought, HOW COOL!!!!!! So it was someone who got involved and talked to students that got me into science and biological engineering!

      I got involved in I’m a Scientist, Get me Out of Here because I LOVE to talk about science and to teach students! I have always been a tutor, a diving coach, and gymnastics coach because I love to teach, and I love to see students passionate about science.
