If we aren’t smart about our environment, probably with a severe limitation of natural resources. I also fear nuclear war… but I hope that the world continues to exist until the sun explodes or until our heavenly creator decides it’s time!

I too fear that warring nations will end the world with nuclear fallout however there is always the possibility that Earth becomes a utopian society that fully accepts and uses renewable resources, and that the world ends at a ripe old age when our sun swells up and explodes in a giant supernova (although whether or not our sun is capable of that is currently under dispute…).

The world will not end because of anything we do. Destroying a planet takes a space station the size of a moon, ask Darth. We can make it inhabitable for humans but no matter what we do there will most likely always be life on the planet. To destroy a planet you need to hit it with a rock about a third the size of the planet, this most likely won’t happen because our big brother Jupiter would catch it. So the most likely way to destroy the planet will be by our sun. In about 4 billion years the sun will expand and engulf the earth.
