Who said natural selection is stopping? Certainly not! It may not be taking the form that it used to (i.e. selecting us for our ‘natural’ conditions), but even with modern medicines, evolution and natural selection are still occurring. For example, natural selection might now favor those individuals who have diseases curable by modern medicine!

I don’t think that modern medicine will end in the failure of the human race. On the opposite, I think that if anything ends the human race, it will be our undue concern for the natural environment around us.

Natural selection has only one rule, the solutions that works best wins. So having health care is just one solution.
